• Students will learn to distinguish the "good" and "bad" types of fat.  
• Students will be able to interpret the specific lab values in relation to hyperlipidemia. 
• Students will be able to make suitable food and supplement choices for hyperlipidemia. 
• Students will know the importance of dietary fiber. 
• Students will learn more about managing hyperlipidemia.

• Students will be able to make suitable food and supplement choices during and after pregnancy
• Students will be given sample meal plans during and after pregnancy
• Students will learn more about initiating and managing breastfeeding
• Students will be given information on infant (0-2 years old) feeding techniques, tips and meal plans

• Students will know what to expect regarding child development and childhood obesity
• Students will learn the importance of physical activity and a healthy lifestyle
• Students will learn skills in choosing food based on portion size of foods and food label
• Students will be able to make suitable food and supplement choices for their child
